Welcome to the Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging.

The Duke Radiology Musculoskeletal Division consists of eight academic musculoskeletal radiologists and one musculoskeletal radiologist from our community division. We are experts in radiographic, CT and US image interpretations of bones, joints, and soft tissues of the extremities and spine. We offer a wide array of image-guided interventions including joint aspirations and injections, as well as image-guided bone and soft tissue biopsies.

IMAGING OF SPORTS RELATED INJURIES

Specialized imaging interpretations and collaboration with our orthopaedic and sports medicine colleagues to maximize diagnostic accuracy and treatment strategies for sports related injuries.

MUSCULOSKELETAL DIAGNOSTIC ULTRASOUND AND INTERVENTION

Comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound services including assessment of tendon, ligament, muscle, and joint abnormalities and ultrasound guided injections for pain.

Percutaneous CT-Fluoroscopic and Ultrasound guided biopsies in collaboration with colleagues in Orthopaedics, Oncology, and Pathology to maximize diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes.
