Visiting observerships offer radiologists an informal learning experience in a university hospital environment. The observerships are designed to enable practicing radiologists to acquire basic or additional exposure to specialty imaging areas. Learning opportunities include participation in daily case reading sessions, lectures by Duke faculty and departmental teaching conferences. No direct patient care participation is allowed. The observerships are scheduled on a weekly basis except for a week of holidays and national radiology meetings. Up to 40 hours of Category 1 CME credit is available for an observership.
Cost of the observership is $1900.00(USD) per week.
