Resident Social Life

OVERVIEW

The radiology residency is a socially active group. Annual departmental social activities including a Welcome Party on July 4th at Dr. Johnson’s, a Pig Pickin’ in September at Dr. Frush’s farm, a formal department cocktail party in October, a Christmas party in December, a departmental golf tournament in May and the graduation banquet in June. The residents are also provided with a social fund that has been used for Duke football games, Durham Bulls (minor league) baseball outings, dodge-ball and bowling outings, interdepartmental mixers, seasonal parties, etc.
