Duke Radiology Research Day

The Department of Radiology is pleased to announce its second annual Radiology Research Day which will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2027. This event will give students and trainees an opportunity to present their work and learn about ongoing research opportunities in our department.

Date: Thursday, January 28, 2027, at 7:30 AM

Location: Trent Semans Center for Health Education, Duke University School of Medicine

This event will be held as part of the Radiology Grand Rounds Program and is open to anyone in the Duke community.

We encourage any students or trainees participating in radiology research to submit an abstract. Research groups in the Department of Radiology are also invited to present their work digitally or in-person for event attendees.

Top abstracts will be selected to give a 6-minute podium presentation at the symposium. Awards for all projects will be determined by faculty judges and presented at the lunch event.

Those eligible to submit abstracts include fellows (MD or PhD), residents, graduate students, medical students, and undergraduate students working in a lab and/or contributing to research within the Department of Radiology.

Abstracts and applications for research group presentations must be submitted by November 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Research may be previously presented or published prior to the submission date. All selected presenters are required to attend in-person for the duration of the morning session on January 28, 2027 from 7:30 to 9:00 AM.
