People with a severe form of peripheral artery disease called “desert foot” who are headed for amputation may have another option at Duke.

Beginning in October 2025, Nick Said, MD, MBA, will assume the role of Vice Chair for Health Information Technology. Dr. Said succeeds Chris Roth, MD, MMCI, who has served with distinction in the role for several years.

The Department of Radiology recently hosted its annual Radiology Primer Course, a two-day curriculum designed to introduce rising second-year medical students to the breadth and impact of radiology.
