Interpretation of Outside Imaging Studies

The Department of Radiology provides a service for secondary interpretations of outside imaging studies upon referring physician request. Secondary interpretations may be deemed necessary by a clinical service to clarify a point of uncertainty, or guide tertiary or quaternary care decisions.

All requests for interpretation of outside studies will include a formal interpretation by a credentialed radiologist that will be included in the patient’s electronic health record.
