Drs. Joseph Cao and Joshua Wilson
Several Department of Radiology faculty members have recently been recognized with leadership appointments at both the departmental and national levels.
Following a national search, Joseph Cao, MD, was appointed chief of the Division of Pediatric Radiology, effective Sept. 1, 2026. The department also recognized Charles Maxfield, MD, for his years of service and leadership to the division.
Beyond the department, Joshua Wilson, PhD, was elected to a two-year term as Board Member-at-Large for the Society of Directors of Academic Medical Physics Programs (SDAMPP). His term will begin Jan. 1, 2027.
These appointments reflect the department's ongoing contributions to leadership in radiology, medical physics and academic medicine.
