In a letter to the Radiology Department, Dr. Erik Paulson, Chair, welcomes our newest faculty member and Division Chief.
Dear Staff, Residents, Fellows, and Faculty,
As many of you know, we have been actively recruiting for faculty and a Division Chief for Cardiothoracic Imaging. I would like to thank the entire CTI Division for their resilience, hard work, and patience during this challenging and changing time.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome Travis Henry, MD as our new Chief of Cardiothoracic Imaging, effective July 1st.
Dr. Henry received an M.D. and was an intern at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Washington University, followed by a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Imaging there. After training, he joined the Radiology faculty at Emory University. In 2015, he joined the faculty at UCSF.
Since 2020, Dr. Henry has served as the Acting Chief of Cardiothoracic Imaging at UCSF. Dr. Henry has a reputation as an expert cardiothoracic imager and an excellent teacher.
I would like to thank Lacey Washington, MD, and Page McAdams, MD for their strong leadership as interim Division Chiefs.
We are delighted to have recruited Dr. Henry and we look forward to moving the Division forward.
Please welcome Dr. Henry to Duke Radiology!
Erik K. Paulson, M.D.
