National Radiologic Technology Week (NRTW) 2019 is here! NRTW is celebrated annually to recognize the vital work of imaging professionals across the nation. The celebration takes place each year during the week that includes November 8 to commemorate the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on November 8, 1895. The week long celebration calls attention to the important role medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals play in patient care and health care safety.
To celebrate our many professionals, Duke Radiology will offer 10 ASRT approved educational opportunities November 4-8. The theme this year, “Waves of the Future” is so appropriate for our Duke Health Imaging future growth strategy. We’ll also have a little fun and a lot of food!
What a wonderful team of Radiologic Technologist we have!! We’ll share the festivities this week, and mostly celebrate them for the valuable work that they do! Thank you Rad Techs!!
