Duke Breast Imaging Pink Ribbon Runners in the Komen Race for the Cure – Please Join Us!

Dear Friends,

The Komen Race for the Cure is scheduled for April 30th in Raleigh, and I would love for YOU to join me in supporting The Susan G. Komen Foundation – either by running with me on race day or donating to our team, or both! This year I am serving as the Medical Chair of the race and Team Captain of the Duke Breast Imaging Pink Ribbon Runners. I would be honored to share the experience with as many of you as possible.

As many of you know, the fight to end breast cancer is both personal and professional for me. You can read my story and why I run on my page:

More Than Pink – Karen Johnson – My Story

Please consider a donation of any size. This year at Duke, we have a friendly competition among departments, which ALWAYS results in more donations (and the secondary perk of bragging rights)! We mean that in the most sincere way, we are all one team with one of the goals being to reduce the number of breast cancer deaths by 50% in the U.S. by 2026.

Check out this super motivated team and please DONATE TODAY. Click on: Duke Breast Imaging Pink Ribbon Runners.

Hope to see you in Raleigh on April 30th!

My best,

Karen
