The Society of Interventional Radiology Resident Research Grant was awarded to James Ronald, M.D., Ph.D., and Siddhant Thukral, M.D. The study, "Zonulin for predicting hepatic encephalopathy after TIPS," will look at Zonulin levels in patients receiving the TIPS procedure in correlation with developing Hepatic Encephalopathy.
