Their dedication, accomplishments, and unwavering commitment to Duke Radiology have left an indelible mark on our institution and the field of radiology.

Dr. Patz’s journey with Duke Radiology has been nothing short of extraordinary. Over the years, he has distinguished himself as a leader, educator, and innovator. His contributions to the field of radiology, particularly in the areas of lung cancer screening and imaging, have been groundbreaking. Dr. Patz’s research has not only advanced our understanding of lung cancer but has also paved the way for early detection and improved patient outcomes.

Beyond his research, Dr. Patz has been a mentor and inspiration to countless students, residents, and colleagues. His commitment to education and his ability to foster a collaborative and supportive environment have been instrumental in shaping the next generation of radiologists. Page McAdams has been a cornerstone of Duke Radiology, known for his exceptional skills and dedication. His expertise in Cardiothoracic Imaging has been invaluable, and his contributions have significantly enhanced the quality of care provided to our patients. Page’s commitment to excellence, research and his meticulous attention to detail have set a high standard for all who have had the privilege of working with him.

Throughout his career, Dr. McAdams has been a source of inspiration and a role model for his peers.  Page’s retirement marks the end of an era, but his influence and the high standards he set will continue to resonate within Duke Radiology. The good news... Dr. McAdams is staying on as a Consulting Associate in the Department!
