International Day of Medical Physics

Today is the international day of medical physics, coinciding with the birthday of Marie Curie. A field with roots in the works of Da Vinci was reintroduced to modern medicine by the pioneering works of Roentgen and Curie. Our fields of radiology and radiation oncology are formed and continuously reformed by medical physics.
