Kirti Magudia, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Radiology in the Abdominal Imaging Division and Alixandra Purakal, MD, Medical Assistant Professor of Radiology, Division Chief of the Community Division have been elected to serve as the Department of Radiology’s Physician Advisory Council representatives.
The Physician Advisory Council (PAC) at Duke Health Integrated Practice (DHIP) is a pivotal initiative designed to foster bidirectional communication and feedback between DHIP physicians and leadership.
This council serves as a structured platform to amplify the voices of clinically active physicians, ensuring their insights and concerns are integral to the decision-making process. The primary purpose of the PAC is to enhance the engagement and input of DHIP physicians. By providing a formalized structure for communication, the PAC aims to bridge the gap between clinical practice and administrative leadership.
