Duke Radiology is Celebrating and Continuing the Long-Standing Collaboration With Clínica Alemana

Duke Radiology has a long-standing history of clinical and scientific collaboration with Clínica Alemana — a world-class health system in Santiago, Chile. Presented below is a partial overview of current and upcoming events:

• A Medical Physicist from Clínica Alemana will spend three weeks with Ehsan Samei, PhD. in late September.

• A Clínica Alemana faculty will learn vascular imaging with the Cardiothoracic Imaging Division from mid-October to mid-December.

• Clínica Alemana’s Abdominal Division Chief will visit for a week in October.

• Peter Kranz, MD will be a Visiting Professor to Clínica Alemana in October.

• Jared Christensen, MD, MBA, and Claudio Silva, MD, MSc MBA are co-authoring an invited article Radiology on cardiac devices.

• Our training programs began joint quarterly resident case conferences over Zoom.
