Dr. Tina Tailor's Study, Published in JACR, Also Featured by Duke Cancer Institute

"Positive Screens are More Likely in a National Lung Cancer Screening Registry than the National Lung Screening Trial."

We are excited to share a recent article from the Duke Cancer Institute (DCI), featuring Duke Radiologist Tina D. Tailor, MD, on her research paper published in the Journal of the American College of Radiology (JACR).

Positive Lung Cancer Screening Exams More Frequent in National Clinical Practice than Research Trials

Dr. Tailor's latest study highlights the higher occurrence of positive lung cancer screenings in patients undergoing low-dose chest CT (LDCT) scans for lung cancer detection. Her findings, published in the Journal of the American College of Radiology, provide valuable insights into the differences between clinical practice and research trials.

Dr. Tailor, Associate Professor of Radiology, is the Program Director, Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship, and also a Member of the Duke Cancer Institute.
