"The Richard H. Marshak International Lecturer Award is presented to a member of the SAR who will represent the Society in its international educational outreach. This award is in honor of Dr. Richard H. Marshak, a founding member and the first president of the former Society of Gastrointestinal Radiologists for his spirit of lectureship and dedication to the SGR. Recipients of this award are recognized as experts in the field of abdominal radiology and serve as an ambassador of the Society. An annual contribution of $4,000 is received from the Marshak Fund in support of this award."
