RSNA Awards Dr. James Ronald Resident Research Grant

The Radiological Society of North America names Dr. James Ronald, 3rd year Radiology Resident, as a 2014 Research Resident Grant recipient for project entitled “Identification of Novel Angiogenesis Biomarkers Correlating with Tumor Response after Hepatic Arterial Embolization for Hepatocellular Carcinoma.”

The ultimate goal of the project is to aid in developing better therapies that combine interventional radiology treatments with chemotherapy for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.  Dr. Charles Kim, Assistant Professor of Radiology and a member of the Interventional Radiology Division, serves as his mentor.
