RSNA 2013 Daily Bulletin Features James T. Dobbins III, Ph.D.

Dr. James Dobbins III, Associate Professor of Radiology and a member of the Duke Radiology Research Division, was featured Wednesday, December 4, 2013, in RSNA’s 2013 Daily Bulletin.  Dr. Dobbins and colleagues validate digital tomosynthesis improves lung nodule detection through their research study entitled “Multi-institution Evaluation of Digital Tomosynthesis, Dual-Energy Radiography, and Conventional Chest Radiography for Detection and Actionability of Pulmonary Nodules”.

“Our results clearly demonstrate that tomosynthesis is far superior to conventional radiography for looking at lung nodules.”
