We are pleased to offer Self-Assessment Modules (SAMs) which meet the American Board of Radiology’s criteria for self-assessment activities in the ABR Maintenance of Certification Program.


This course has been designed for the radiologist who performs abdominal, cardiothoracic, neuroradiology imaging examinations as well as vascular/interventional procedures on adults and/or children.


At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify and discuss the latest modalities and techniques being used in the field of Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Discuss differential diagnoses of common disease processes as they are seen on radiologic images.
  • Demonstrate compliance with various governing agencies to sustain accreditation, licensing and board certificate requirements.


In support of improving patient care, Duke University Health System Department of Clinical Education & Professional Development is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), to provide continuing education for the health care team.

Registration fee is $895 on or before October  3, 2018.  We offer discounted registration rates to Duke Radiology alumni of $795 and Military/NonMD/Retirees of $695.

On or after October 4, 2018 there is a $75 late fee in addition to the registration fee.

In an effort to be more environmentally conscious, we will distribute syllabus materials to the attendees electronically. You are encouraged to bring your laptop or tablet to the lectures should you wish to follow along.

The registration fee includes tuition, continental breakfast and refreshment breaks.  The fee is payable by check made out to “Aladdin Travel & Meeting Planners” or by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. There is a $100 administrative fee for cancellation. Written notification must be received by October 31, 2018 to receive refund.
