Self-Assessment Modules as qualified by the American Board of Radiology in meeting the criteria for self-assessment toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in the ABR Maintenance of Certificate Program will be offered.
Course Description:
This course has been designed for the radiologist interested in gaining a greater understanding of the advances in diagnostic imaging, specifically implementing a multidisciplinary approach to education via a combination of experts from Duke’s Divisions of Abdominal Imaging, Breast Imaging, Cardiothoracic Imaging, Neuroradiology and Vascular/Interventional Radiology.
Learning objectives: Following participation in this activity participants should be able to:
Identify the newest imaging techniques and modalities being used to diagnose various disease processes
Discuss techniques and procedures currently being used for treatment in neuroradiology and interventional radiology.
Demonstrate a greater knowledge of the new techniques and procedures
