Charles Kim, M.D. Awarded Prestigious SIR Honor

Charles Kim, M.D. Associate Professor of Radiology, was awarded a prestigious honor by The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). He is among 23 new Fellows elevated during the society’s Annual Scientific Meeting held February 28th – March 5th in Atlanta this year. This is an honor achieved by fewer than 10 percent of SIR membership. It is awarded to members who have demonstrated excellence in research and published works, or in the areas of teaching and leadership within the field of interventional radiology and the society. It is given to members who are passionate in their commitment to improving medical practice by developing, testing, and implementing breakthrough treatments.
