Policy for applications for funding by agencies outside the Radiology Department All applications must be submitted to Susan Hall (Susan.Hall@dm.duke.edu), Department of Radiology no less than 12 business days prior to the deadline date. Your application is then prepared by the Radiology Business Office for submission to the Duke Office of Research Administration (ORA); this process requires 5 business days for preparation. All applications must be submitted to the Duke Office of Research Administration (ORA) 7 business days prior the deadline date.   In most cases the time will total 2 weeks and 1 day prior to the deadline for submission.  The applicant can continue to amend the scientific section of the application until the submission date.  See http://research.som.duke.edu/ , and especially http://research.som.duke.edu/research-administration/grant-administration/grant-proposal-waiver-request , for ORA policy and a discussion of what must happen if the application reaches ORA late.  Please do not be late!   Clinical Faculty Research Participation
