Benefits

Stipends:

2007-2008 Stipend: $54,534

Salaries of individuals with more than 6 years postgraduate training are commensurate with experience.

Liability Insurance:

Professional liability insurance is provided for all medical activities at Duke University Medical Center.

Medical and Dental Coverage:

Medical and dental insurance is available through the University.

Vacation:

Fellows receive 20 days vacation per academic year. Five (5) of these days will be granted during the Christmas/New Year's break at the discretion of the section and the other 15 days are to be spread throughout the year.

License Requirement:

A North Carolina state license to practice medicine (either permanent or temporary) is essential before beginning training.
